Leaving a mark

A solo exhibition of my work, looking at the relationship of oneself in a space and the lack of permanence of the individual in that space.

This is not an exhibition of death, it is one of a life. An opportunity to leave my expression for time.
To help me process the fact that my timeline is unknown, I attempt to create understanding and stability. A picture of my identity, and place in the world. When I no longer exist imageries will have been made by those who knew me and those who didn’t. My voice will be gone, however I wish to leave something that speaks of part of me. A connection to me via time. I will not leave children as my continuing DNA, so how do I leave my evidence of a life lived? An echo of my being, the unit of space and time where I existed, representing a little of who I am, my energy, quirks, character, and what I touched, offered and shaped.
